Paddling Grays Harbor

Water is a huge attraction in Grays Harbor County. We have many miles of open ocean beaches, a 15 mile long by 11 mile wide saltwater harbor, many freshwater lakes, several coastal rivers, and countless tributaries, all awaiting the small boat enthusiast. With your canoe or kayak you can explore little traveled places and discover what there is to love about the unspoiled waters of Grays Harbor County.

Follow the “Paddle Our Waters!” driving tour itinerary to hit some of our favorite spots on the waters of Grays Harbor County, Washington. Always be prepared for the weather conditions and wear your life jacket at all times on the water.

DAY 1 EASTERN GRAYS HARBOR
Many visitors drive right through eastern Grays Harbor County to visit our beaches and rain forest, never knowing about the great places to explore on the waters in the eastern part of the county. Friends Landing is an ADA Accessible park on the Chehalis River (with tidal influence). Exit at Devonshire Road.
